Glenwild Greens Sets Summer Golf Tournament Scheduleclick here for the FAQs (frequently asked questions) Glenwild Greens Golf Course in Bloomingdale has announced two series of golf tournaments for the summer. All tournaments are open to the public. The course will remain open for non-tournament play as well. Glenwild Greens is a public nine-hole par-3 golf course. The “Partners Series” is open to adults and juniors and will consist of five tournaments. Our first was held on June 26th and was played using a two-player SCRAMBLE format. Four more tournaments will be held on SATURDAY MORNINGS – July 9th and 23rd and August 6th and 20th. The July 9th and 23rd tournaments will be played using a two-player BETTER-BALL format. Multiple categories, such as adult-child, adult-adult (i.e. husband-wife or friend-friend) and junior-junior will make for a fun-filled competition. The entry fee is just the standard $13 weekend greens fee. Tee times will be available from 7:30am thru 12noon. Call the course anywhere from 1 to 10 days in advance between 10am and 6pm at 973-283-0888 to register your tee time for a twosome or a foursome. The “Junior Series” will be held on eight consecutive Wednesday afternoons beginning June 29th, with tee times available from 12noon until 4pm. Play in one tournament or play in all eight. The format is individual stroke play (total score). The entry fee is just $10 and is free for Glenwild junior members. Players can range in age from 10 to 17. Multiple age group categories will be set up to encourage competition at all levels. Call the course anywhere from 1 to 10 days in advance between 10am and 6pm at 973-283-0888 to register and reserve your tee time block. Tee time blocks will be set up for every half hour from 12noon until 4pm. The tournament committee will arrange groups at the course on the day of play.
